Pros and cons of TimeTrack for Freelancers app for iPhone and iPad

TimeTrack for Freelancers app good for

Ive been using the app for over a year and love it. Great to keep track of your time and charge outs.
Tried various apps before selecting this one (after testing, upgraded to the paid version). Ability to export to iPhone calendar is great as from there, it is seamless syncing with Outlook. It even allows you to summarise and analyse your time if (eg) you need to submit time sheets also via a clients own stand alone system. This was handy when the client required weekly summarised timesheet input.
I use it for all the odd work I do as a sub. It keeps me straight and paid right. Highly recommend.
I really like this app. The only thing I dont like is not being able to select certain features that I want with a client. Is this a client that is a project client or not.
I am so happy I found this wonderful tool!! Time and Expense reports for income taxes and clients are so easy to create. My business has become more organized and profession as I am able to email reports as needed on the fly.
*The way Technology should be! .... Their commitment is solid. It shows on how well they respond and there details and improvements are constant. Its great to have all work related salary, time and expenses at your fingertips. In seconds you can make a simple invoice to submit or review.

Some bad moments

I just upgraded to the paid version of this app and all of a sudden the Time clock doesnt work. How is it that the free version works better than the paid one?
App that didnt work at all !!!! How is it possible by apple to validate that ??!!!! App broken from the start. Its really a fake or a bad joke.
Can no long run this app on my iPhone 4. I try to open the app and it crashes and closes. I rely on this app so am very annoyed. Looking for alternatives.
Does a great job of helping me keep my time and is very easy to use.
Have tried several time-tracking apps, and find this one the best for my needs. I only need to track hours in a work day against various projects and categories (break/fix, routine support, development, etc). Unlike many of its competitors that force you to use features you dont need, this has the capability to track expenses and more, but does not force you to configure and input the items you dont care about. It has a "punch-clock" feature to check in and out of projects as you work with a variety of options for rounding, and its easy to manually input and edit entries as well. I only have one actual "client" (the company I work for), so I use set up my projects as Clients to get an extra level of granularity. I use Projects to track time spent on dev, support, break/fix, etc, and the app supports this easily. You can set up specific tasks for each project, or have free-form entry with the option to choose from previously entered tasks for that project or all of your projects. The weekly summary view is great, showing totals by client/project by day, so its easy to see what I did at a glance and transfer it to my time sheet at the end of the week. Most impressive, however, is the support! About a week into using the app I decided to try the cloud sync service to share my data between devices. This works very well, with options to sync manually or automatically. Unfortunately, I made a mistake when I set it up, syncing my phone first, which copied a set of sample data to the cloud because I had just installed the app. When I later synced my iPad, which had my week of real data, it was overwritten by the example data set from my phone since it was on the cloud servers first. Turns out I had no reason to worry. I emailed the developer to see if he could help me recover from my goof. Got a response almost instantly, and within a very short time he sent me a file to restore which contained all of my configuration and time data. Easy as that I was back up and running as if nothing had happened. A useful and user-friendly app is a good app, but it needs good support to be a great app. This one has it all. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs to track their hours and expenses.
Its the only one for me. Has everything I need and more. Simple to use and understand. Set up for as much detail as you need; or keep it simple.
